North Shore Country Day School is located approximately ½ hour (16 miles) north of Chicago and ½ hour (15 miles) east from O’Hare International Airport.

From Northbound 94 (Edens) or from 294 (Tollway)
Exit at Willow eastbound. Follow Willow all the way until it ends at Green Bay Road. Turn right (south) on Green Bay and take the first right one block south. You may park in the circle lot.

From Southbound 94 (Edens)
Exit at Tower, turn left (south) on Frontage Road. Go approximately 1½ miles to Willow (first light). Turn left (east) on Willow, go over the Edens and follow Willow all the way until it ends at Green Bay Road. Turn right (south) on Green Bay and take the first right one block south. You may park in the circle lot.

From Northbound Sheridan Road
Follow Sheridan north to Winnetka Avenue. Turn left (west) and continue until you pass under the viaduct and reach the stoplight which is Green Bay Road. Turn right (north) and go approximately ½ mile and you will see the sign for the School on your left. You may park in the circle lot.

Visitor Parking
Enter the circle lot at 310 Green Bay Road and look for the reserved Visitor Parking spaces at the top of the circle. Follow the signs to the Upper School building. [Campus Map]

Handicap Access

The north side of campus from Circle Lot:
North elevator entrance just west of the Theater – elevator up to Theater lobby and down to Art Gallery – Unlocked only for special events

The south side of campus from Middle School Lot:
South elevator entrance from Middle School parking lot (entrance has an intercom that allows access during school hours) – Up to: 2nd floors of Lower School (has wheelchair lift to 3rd floor), Middle School, Science Center, Art Center and West Gym. Down to: 1st floors of Lower School, Middle School, Art Center, Library, Art Gallery and Cafeteria.

Mac Gym:
Sidewalk ramp down to north entrance to main floor; Wheelchair ramp to door on the north end of the balcony; Ramp at east side of lower level to weight room.

Upper School:
The Upper School on the Quad modular complex is accessible via ramps.

Lower School: 8:10 am - 2:50 pm
Middle School:
M-Th: 8 am – 3:30 pm
F: 8 am – 2:40 pm (Friday)
Upper School: 8:15 am – 3 pm
