|The School's cafeteria takes pride in offering a variety of healthy eating choices for breakfast and lunch. Students may choose from a sandwich station, a salad bar, an daily entree special, daily soup, and pizza or pasta. All entrees, salads, sandwiches and soups are made from scratch. There are no fryers in the kitchen - when French fries are served, they are oven baked. All cooking oils contain zero trans fats. The kitchen is peanut- and tree-nut-free, including all prepackaged snacks, and the number of products with artificial sweeteners has been reduced. |
In addition, dining services supports the School's sustainability initiatives by moving toward 99% reusable service products. Parent volunteers take turns serving students and faculty. Lunch expenses are charged to students’ accounts and billed monthly.
