For more than 26 years, the Benefit Board has raised funds through its annual auction party. These funds are directed to support areas of the School not covered by the annual operating budget such as curriculum and teaching fund grants, faculty enrichment grants and major capital projects. Since 1981, the Benefit Board (formerly the Women's Board), has raised more than $5 million. The auction also provides a venue for parents, faculty, alumni and friends of North Shore to connect in a festive atmosphere enjoying dinner and conversation.
Now that the weather is getting colder wouldn't you like to spend a fun-filled and casual evening with friends at the beach? The Benefit Board's annual auction, entitled "A Night at the Shore," will allow you to do just that and support North Shore Country Day School at the same time! On February 27, 2010, the Mac Gym will be completely transformed into a blissful getaway; a respite of sand and surf...with food, entertainment and, of course, spirited live and silent auctions to benefit the School. This year's efforts will focus on establishing a Benefit Board Scholarship Fund.
