George Mitchell Playground
For 35 years, George Mitchell was a fixture at NSCD, beloved by students. He began his tenure cleaning classrooms, later working outside. Before long, he was head of grounds and maintenance. Later, transportation was added to his portfolio of jobs. In his honor, the lower school installed a new playground and dedicated it to him.
