North Shore Country Day

Maximize Opportunity. Amplify Impact.

STRATEGIC PLAN: 2026–27 AND BEYOND

A comprehensive, thoughtful vision for the future of our JK–12 community.

Watch the Overview

Our Belief

Opportunity should never be limited.

North Shore Country Day was founded on a simple but enduring belief: Education should never limit a student's potential. Instead, it should open doors, expand opportunity and help every child grow with purpose. More than a century later, that belief remains the foundation of this strategic plan.

Our Direction

Looking ahead with clarity, confidence and purpose.

Throughout the 2025-26 school year, interviews, research and collaborative planning brought together parents, faculty, trustees, alumni and school leaders to help shape North Shore Country Day's future. The insights gained informed the strategic direction presented here and reaffirmed what distinguishes our school: the daily opportunity for every student to be known, challenged, connected and seen.

We will continue to build upon our vibrant network of alumni, families and friends, expanding classroom opportunities and providing lasting value for every participant. This network will serve as a learning and career resource, a support system, and a lifelong source of belonging.

03

NSCD as a Destination Workplace

Amazing teachers are the primary reason families choose NSCD — and the reason they stay. We will ensure NSCD is a place where outstanding educators come to do the best work of their careers, where innovation is encouraged, and where great teaching is recognized, celebrated, sustained and well-compensated.
