One of the great parts about North Shore is the ability to make meaningful connections with faculty and staff throughout the school, whether they're upper school teachers, middle school, lower school coaches, advisors, administration. I think it is a very valuable asset to the school and one that is uniquely North Shore.

I would say one of the things I really like about athletics at North Shore is you're really able to make of it what you want. So if you're someone that has played sports outside of school your entire life, you can continue to bring that intensity to North Shore athletics. But it's also completely feasible if you're someone that is just, you know, trying out a sport for the first time. Whereas it's more in it to make friends and be social, that's completely available to you as well. It makes it really easy to have a really comprehensive team of people with varying skill levels.

Being involved in a sport at North Shore Country Day allows you to meet so many amazing people that aren't just in your grade. So when I was a freshman, I played field hockey in the fall and two weeks before school started we had preseason. I got the chance to meet incoming freshmen, reconnect with people I'd gone to middle school with and meet people in other grades. I was really able to meet a lot of different people of a lot of different ages, some of which I'm still close with today, four years later.
