Due to the coronavirus outbreak, North Shore Country Day has closed its campus and has begun remote learning until at least April 10. While the campus is closed during this time, our Admission Office is also open virtually and available to welcome and introduce you to North Shore Country Day.
As a result of the disruption caused by this unique situation, applicants currently in process or just beginning to apply will participate in a modified admission process. We encourage you to reach out via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or submit an inquiry form and one of our team members will contact you.
We appreciate your interest in North Shore Country Day.
Jason A. Giffen
Director of Admissions and Financial Aid
At NSCD, we develop critical thinkers, collaborative problem solvers and caring citizens of the world. We’ve spent 100 years creating a culture where relationships catalyze learning. Where children learn to take risks and make their own connections from grade to grade, year to year.
North Shore Country Day School administers its educational programs, including admission and financial aid, without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation or national origin.
"North Shore is about this idea of empowering kids for ownership of their learning and giving them opportunities. The teachers know it’s not about the grade, it’s about learning the material. It’s about actually understanding something... I love that!"
North Shore Country Day School is a junior kindergarten through 12th grade, college-preparatory school founded in Winnetka, Illinois in 1919. With rigorous academic pursuit as the cornerstone, North Shore provides many opportunities for all students to excel – in the classroom and the laboratory, on the stage and the playing field, in their communities and beyond.
