All of us at North Shore Country Day are proud and humbled to be celebrating our Centennial. One hundred years is a remarkable milestone for any institution, but even more so when we recognize our School is stronger than ever before in so many ways. North Shore has survived and thrived through wars and depressions, economic booms and busts, social upheavals and technological revolutions. We have weathered these peaks and valleys because we have held true to our bedrock principles even while we have evolved and grown, serving students exceptionally well for 100 years.
This site will soon be chock full of details about our once-in-a-century festivities: parades and parties and lectures and exhibitions amongst them. Each will offer opportunities to connect with old friends and make new ones. And, of course, celebrate!
I hope you will return regularly for updates; not only to make sure you are aware of the many opportunities we will have to celebrate the School we have built together, but also to explore the rich array of resources we have marshalled that highlight what has made North Shore such a special place for 100 years.
I look forward to seeing you during our Centennial celebration and to sharing with you North Shore today.
