On behalf of the Alumni Board, we want to express our thoughts of compassion and concern in this extraordinary time. Ever-present in our minds is the emotional toll this public health crisis has placed on families and friends, the campus community, and the greater NSCDS community. We are thinking of you and your families. We want you to know North Shore is doing its very best to support students, families, and the campus community.  We are grateful for your concern and support which continues to sustain the school throughout this challenging period.

The Alumni Board is partnering with school administrators, and the Development and Alumni Office to continue to offer events and opportunities to connect our alumni community now and throughout the rest of the year.

Homecoming Plans October 2-3, 2020

Homecoming/Reunion Weekend is currently scheduled for October 2-3, 2020. We have made the decision to make this year’s Homecoming virtual for our alumni community. While we can’t replace what it’s like to be back on campus in person, we are excited for some opportunities to connect in ways we haven’t before, and we hope to create an even more engaging and interactive experience than you might get on campus. We found great success with our remote learning program this Spring and look forward to applying some of the same techniques to our Homecoming events.

We will be in touch with further details as we get closer to Homecoming Weekend.

To Our Reunion Classes:
In October 2020, we will work with classes to establish virtual gatherings and look forward to connecting with each reunion class individually on plans. In 2021, we will be welcoming you all to officially celebrate your reunion on campus for Homecoming Weekend in 2021.

For 100 years North Shore Country Day has been a resilient, strong and compassionate global community of  “live and serve” and will emerge even stronger having weathered these challenging times together. Please stay in touch and connect to each other and North Shore as our community is a special one that serves and supports everyone now more than ever.
North Shore’s Alumni Association has more than 3,000 members worldwide who stay connected to the School through the Alumni News, the Acorn magazine and by participating and attending School events and activities. It is a testament to the North Shore experience that alumni remain loyal and support school programs, both financially and with their volunteer time.

Our Alumni Board

Our Alumni Board focuses on promoting and being involved with special events, fundraising and communication. Their efforts are important and help maintain a strong connection with alumni. Class representatives also build connections by keeping in touch with classmates, providing updates on North Shore happenings, requesting support for Annual Giving and encouraging their classmates to share information for the Acorn.
North Shore is fortunate to have these many alumni whose collective energy, thoughtfulness and hard work adds so much to the life of the School.
