For Middle School and Upper School, North Shore offers two ways to submit an application and supporting materials to the school. Please review the information and select the system that makes the most sense for your child or family. An application fee of $75 is required for either process with application fee waivers available by request.
For families only applying to NSCD, our "in-house" application may be the most suitable option. Submission of the Inquiry Form provides basic information to set up your account. If you have already received this information then proceed to the application.
The Standard Application Online is a common application form accepted by many schools in the area. For those planning to apply to multiple schools, this may be the preferred application.
Regardless of which application you choose, the components of the process include:
Student Essays
Parent Statement
Current English, Math and Principal Recommendations
Transcript/Student Grade Reports
Interview (required) - The student interview is a conversation with an admissions representative to learn more about them and provide for a 1-on-1 interaction with the candidate. No preparation is necessary, but students are encouraged to ask questions so they can learn more about North Shore Country Day.
Standardized Testing (required) - Students applying to grades 6-12 are asked to submit ISEE, SSAT, PSAT, SAT, or ACT scores. North Shore will offer the online ISEE exam on select dates this fall for applicants. Please contact the Admissions Office for details to register.
