The cost of excellence is high. Like most independent schools, tuition does not cover the cost of a North Shore education. That’s where our community steps in. Every day and every year, our parents, faculty, staff, trustees, alumni, grandparents, parents of alumni and friends demonstrate and model the School’s motto “Live and Serve” with their generous donations. In turn, our students benefit with outstanding teachers and programs. We invite you to explore the many ways you can help make a difference at North Shore.

Ways to Give

List of 8 items.

  • Cash

These gifts are fully tax deductible. The School will accept gifts by cash, check or credit card.
  • Online

A convenient and immediate method for those who want to make a gift via credit card. Our online server is secure and safe. Give or pledge online.
  • Recurring Gifts

You can make a recurring gift by pledging an amount on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis. Visit our Give Now page to set up your recurring gift.
  • Stock Gifts

A gift of stock saves two ways. You avoid capital-gains tax on the increased value and you receive a deduction for the full market value of the stock at the time you make the gift. To ensure proper credit for your gift, it is necessary to notify the Development Office of your contribution at 847.441.3316. A Contribution of Stock form is available from the Development Office or you can download a copy of the form online.
  • Gifts in Kind

Gifts of goods and services are always welcomed. There are so many different needs at the School, and these donations can be distributed where best suited.
  • Matching Gifts

Businesses and corporations are encouraged to match the gifts given by their employees. To find out if your company offers a matching gift program, please contact your employer or use the Corporate Matching Lookup tool
  • Planned Giving

This offers tax saving and benefits: wills, life insurance, life income gifts, charitable lead trusts and real estate.
  • Cash Back

The Parents' Association organizes a number of fundraising opportunities to benefit the School. All parents, alumni, parents of graduates, grandparents and friends of North Shore are invited to participate.
