The Benefit

Get your birthday hats ready and join us for this year’s Centennial Benefit! Chase Stevenson, Nina Yoo and Betty Fisher Wiggins ’93 are leading our efforts as Chairs to bring together our community in honor of our 100th year. We are excited to celebrate together with parents, alumni, parents of alumni, faculty and staff, all while raising important funds for the School.

If you are interested in helping with fundraising or being a part of our recruitment efforts for this event, please contact Tracie Frederick in the Development Office at 847.881.8809 or

Every year since 1981, NSCDS has had an annual fundraising event. From an Auction to the Purple Wave to the Scholarship Dinner, we will host our annual fundraising Benefit in honor of our Centennial Year.

Over the years, North Shore’s annual benefit has raised more than $5 million to fund areas not fully covered by the operating budget, such as curriculum and teaching fund grants, student scholarships and faculty enrichment grants. It has also helped fund major capital projects including the renovation of the Lower School, construction of the Conant Science Center and renovation of the Auditorium and Arts Center.
