Upper School 2D Visual Art Teacher (Leave Replacement for 2019/20 Academic Year)

North Shore Country Day School, a JK‐12 independent school in near suburban Chicago, seeks candidates for an Upper School Visual Art Teacher to cover a full‐time, full‐year leave during the 2019/20 Academic Year. We seek candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree in visual art (MAT, MFA, or MAAE preferred), three or more years of applicable teaching experience, and a demonstrable talent for and interest in teaching visual art to Upper School students. Courseload includes darkroom photography, digital design, painting, drawing, concepts in contemporary art and Advanced Placement Studio Art.
