SPATIAL intimacy

January 17, 2014 -- The Almquist Gallery hosted the art exhibit opening "Spatial Intimacy" by Chicago artists Veronica Bruce and Madison Zalopany.
Bruce describes her artwork as "examining the relationships between parts, creating a network of decisions and self-reflecting moments within a piece." Zalopany says the result of her work is meant to be comical. "It is an absurd reminder that there is no measure of adequacy without the arbitrary judgments and comparisons of others."
