Remote Learning

What does remote learning look like in 2020? At North Shore Country Day it varies by division. The School provides powerful learning delivered through varying approaches and media and an evolving curriculum that changes week by week as teachers gauge what works well and what needs improvement.
It includes opportunities to connect with teachers and other students regularly, communication from teachers and division heads, and intentional efforts to foster community—and fun!

Students and parents have weighed in with feedback and suggestions. Their input has helped evolve teaching methods and modify the schedule to become more effective. Working together has enabled the School to refine and further improve the remote-learning model.

Teachers and students continue to stretch new muscles and gain new skills. The School is adapting and growing, learning new techniques, and being flexible, understanding, patient and compassionate—from a distance. Community has never been more important or apparent than right now at North Shore Country Day.
