Performing Arts

Since our founding in 1919, all students have been encouraged and welcomed to "take the stage." Courses are designed to for students to build a foundation of skills in music and drama, and to continually develop those skills through a variety of classroom and performance experiences. Opportunities include vocal and instrumental music, acting and technical theater.

This year's spring musical, Seussical, March 9-11, showcased students in all three divisions. Among the familiar Dr. Seuss characters, the audience will see the Cat in the Hat who tells the story of Horton, lots of Whos, Mayzie La Bird and Gertrude McFuzz. Ultimately, this is a story about the powers of friendship, loyalty, family and community.
